Yona Gandye is a consultant cardiologist with 13yrs of experience in clinical cardiology
and teaching. He has 6yrs of leadership in foundering and developing cardiac rhythm
abnormality(electrophysiology) care and treatment in Tanzania as head of
electrophysiology and pacing services at Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute. He is the
president and a founder member for the Device and arrhythmia society of Tanzania. He
is the ambassador for the cardiac arrhythmia in Tanzania appointed by African Heart
Rhythm Society (AFHRA). Yona Gandye has done a hundred of conventional mapping
and ablation of supraventricular tachycardias (AVNRT, ART/ORT and Atrial tachycardia)
and 3D mapping and ablation of ventricular idiopathic arrhythmia. He has done several
publications related to electrophysiology including but not limited to:-
